Due to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions and the uncertainty of what those guidelines will be in May we have decided to forgo the traditional banquet in favor of an event in the parking lot featuring smoked Brisket and or chicken and various sides, as well as soft drinks, coffee and deserts.
Cost for the dinner will be $20 per person.
Saturday’s dinner will still include the raffle, door prizes and 50/50 Drawing as well as the raffle of the rebuilt Dana 18 Joe Deyoung will build in the parking lot during his technical presentation.
The guest speaker, Phil Norvoid, owner of the Epic Willys Adventure, will speak throughout the day Saturday rather than during the banquet, So be sure to stop by to talk to him.
Friday night we are planning a picnic in the parking lot free to everyone registered for the show. Details to come.
Our featured guest speaker this year is Phil Norvoid, owner of the Epic Willys Adventure which is an invitation-only event where teams traveling in all-original vintage Jeeps, cruise America’s byways in a unique adventure - no GPS or cell phones allowed! This year’s trip will trace the route of the Oregon Trail.
Phil is an entrepreneur driven by challenges, passion and empowering others. MaxBilt LLC, formed in 2008, has evolved into a manufacturer of high quality solution-based products for the offroad aftermarket, a custom fabrication shop building vehicles where imagination is the only limitation, as well as a general repair facility for all makes and models. He encourages a comfortable environment where employees understand the balance of work hard and play hard. He is a huge supporter of his wife’s business, Legends Marketing, a grassroots fueled company built on curating connections between business and their customers. Phil is one of the founding members of the Epic Willys Adventure, a bi-annual excursion where the crew sets out on a 2000 mi journey across the country in vintage jeeps and limited resources. Finding ways to involve friends and family in all of these endeavors is at the core of his values. Keeping tabs on Phil and his crew is easily done through their constant connection to social media. Phil's time is spent traveling the country sharing stories, in the shop spinning wrenches, with his amazing wife and kids, or out in the woods with a chainsaw, all the while scheming the next big idea.
Our technical event will be a follow-up to last year’s T-90 transmission rebuild. Again, well known Willys Jeep collector and restoration expert, Joe Deyoung, will be rebuilding of a Dana 18 transfer case under the big-top tent in the vehicle display area. We will then raffle off the transfer case during the banquet.
On Saturday there will be a lunch stand set up in the vehicle display area.
This is one show you really do not want to miss.
